Lumeca is a health app for virtual consultations to help easily connect doctors to patients remotely.
There are two main sides to the Lumeca app, the user side which was mostly used on mobile devices and the health professional side which was mostly used on computers or tablets.
Here is an example of the dashboard that was mocked up for the health care professional side of Lumeca.
This is used to view valuable information about your clinic and your patients.
Each doctor at a clinic has a schedule they can edit to show their availability to patients.
This calendar view also shows the doctor and staff upcoming appointments.
Staff also has the ability to view patients, triage, send faxes, join consultations and edit a patients details all within the app.
On the mobile app side, users are given an easy and friendly onboarding experience.
The goal is to get them into a consultation without too much hassle or time.
When you're sick, you're sick.  No one wants to jump through hoops, they want to see a doctor!
The home screen of the app is simple, you either talk to a doctor, join a consultation that you have an invite to, or you find a family doctor if you don't already have one.
Finding a new doctor is simplified by showing the clinics at the maps location that are currently taking new patients.
The app is designed to make joining a consultation very simple.  You answer a few questions up front and include why you want to see a doctor, then a nurse joins to gather any additional information if needed and you simply wait to talk to the doctor.
Once the consultation is over, the doctor (through the dashboards above) can fax prescriptions, write notes, and give the patient the care they deserve.
